The choice of your Wedding venue is dependant mainly on two things, number of guests and your budget. If you decide to get married at a hotel, most medium to larger size hotels will have their own venues that you can use.

Other options include restaurants, school and religious halls or of course you can create your own venue.

If you're having a small wedding and you have a nice back yard there is nothing stopping you having your reception at home if size permits.
